“Computer Informational Technologies” Ltd collaborating actively with insurance companies’ experts for the last four years has created and still improves InWare system. The product helps to implement total automation of insurance companies’ activity.

The main InWare structure principle is its flexibility without loosing efficiency.

The created product is a complex platform for automation main business processes of insurance companies taking into account Ukrainian progress peculiarities.

Centralized database for Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine and Reinsurance activity automation system for “Leader Re” company have been introduced due to the use of InWare complex software product.

Main components of InWare

InWare consists of the following components:

  • Insurance (reinsurance) products builder

    It permits to create an insurance product and define structure for account objects (types of insurance, types of objects, insurance coverage, agents’ participation profiles, rules of mutual settlements).

    It includes insurance coverage builder which permits to form a set of insurance coverage permissible for a product on basis of the main risks list.

    It includes a mechanism for forming an insurance agreements details list, insurance objects details list, reinsurance agreements properties list and list of properties for control works in limits of the product.

    Following details may be added to the foregoing properties: type, dimension, settlement and check rules (using formulae).

  • Tools for insurance agreements inserting and editing

    Means of standard web interface enable a remote insurance agreements inserting and editing therewith insurance products builder defines agreement details list.

    The same functionality is introduced in usual Windows interface.

    There is also a possibility for inserting additional conditions (addenda) to insurance agreements.

    The tools permit to insert agent money awards sums with a possibility of calculating commission charges on basis of agent agreement properties.

    InWare also includes tools for printing policy on forms by means of the system.

    Tools provide identification of an insurance object with a possibility to track insurance history of a specific object.

    While inserting data system makes control over their integrity and checks them. Automated calculating rules are preset for an easy information inserting.

  • Tools for inserting and editing tariff schedule

    Mechanism for tariff scheduling is a flexible and high-capacity instrument that permits to build insurance products and fix dependence of a basic tariff and corrective coefficient from an agreement details values, insurance object or risk insurance.

    Correspondent formulae are stated on basis of tariff schedule for calculating tariffs and automated ordered control over company’s tariff policy executing.

  • Reinsurance and retrocession agreements registration subsystem

    It provides reinsurance and retrocession agreements registration in forms of either optional or obligatory reinsurance.

    It permits to set different proportional and disproportional reinsurance programs for obligatory agreements (quota, accident sum, quota-accident, loss accident, accident of loss).

    When using together with import, transformation and data upload subsystem tools for accounting obligatory agreements permit to automate in and out bordero calculating (risks bordero, certificated and paid loss). Reinsurance program properties are used for automated calculating bordero objects responsibility parts.

    The main accounting object of the system is the reinsurance object. Thereby list of objects whose responsibility is transmitted to reinsurance (retrocession) corresponds to the list of insured objects. At the same time the system makes control over the received and transmitted responsibility limits and over the awards for a single object or an entire risk.

  • Adjustment works accounting subsystem

    It permits to count massages about insurance events, insurers (victims) declarations, adjustment progress, insurance acts and payments in limits of adjustment works.

    Depending on what insurance product you choose it is possible to set additional properties for adjustment works together with completion rules.

    The subsystem permits to customize adjustment works form and stage for a definite adjustment process in limits of the rules for a specific insurance type.

    The subsystem gives a possibility to attach different materials to an adjustment work (documents, scanned copies, audio, video etc.)

    It also makes an automatic count of responsibility quota taking into account reinsurance (in or out) of an object that initialized insurance case.

  • Financial mutual settlement accounting subsystem

    It permits to register payments schedule, actual payments and agreement payments.

    It has tools for import and transmission of a bank statement from client bank for an automatic payments process.

    It supports multicurrency and account of exchange rates during mutual settlements with non-residents.

    It tracks run out payments, permits to calculate and specify debtor and creditor debts.

  • Forms movement calculating subsystem

    It ensures calculating of forms received in storehouse, calculating forms movement within a company (branches, agents).

    It permits to calculate used (for contracts), written off, lost and returned forms.

  • Agents agreements accounting subsystem

    It ensures count of general agents network.

    It supports tools for accounting commission charges rates separately for each insurance product.

    It permits to track and analyze actions of each agent.

  • Import, transformation and load data subsystem (ETL-subsystem)

    It permits to import and transform data:

    • From different external data sources (from files to modern industrial DbMS)
    • From different formats with a possibility to customize transformation templates and use of transformation formula
    • In an interactive (dialogical) and automatic mode

    It permits to execute different data checks and diagnostics.

    It permits to upload data to the system with a link to data source and uploading time.

  • Formula editor

    It permits to edit transformation data rules and check them without interfering the source code of the system thereby rules are attached to data source.

    It contains tools for customizing check and transformation rules.

  • Automatic system update tools

    They permit to publish new system versions with their consequent automatic updating by a new user. It has a possibility for control over the versions used by users.

  • Data warehouse

    It’s built in correspondence with data warehouses standards.

    It includes advanced administration tools that permit to monitor current connections, journaling users’ actions in the system and analysis of these actions, rights distribution between users even on the level of executing atomic operations of reading or writing.

  • Data search and analysis subsystem

    It permits to build and save reports templates of different complexity degree constructed on basis of every InWare data details in the reports library with a possibility of a detailed customization of reports display forms.

    It gives a possibility for end users to execute and print standard reports from reports library.

    It supports export to different data formats.

    It ensures flexible search, filtration, navigation tools (movement between different interconnected data), detailed elaboration (drill-down), data aggregation (generalization).

  • Searching web interface

    It ensures data search by means of web interface. It includes search request administration that permits to change search requests list by the help of web interface, list of their properties and type of results.

    It permits to make detailed elaboration of specific account data.

    It contains print tools and means for information export to different external formats.
